Dear old Bobby Bumps and Fido breaking the fourth wall way back in 1922. When animation was in the forefront of mixing a person drawing and the drawings interacting with the viewer. A version of Ernie Kovacs’ Magic Drawing board. Both far ahead of their times. Both equally in the early stages of their medium.
